DERBYSHIRE Hill Family and Community Centre have officially opened their new improved 'Centre Face' climbing wall.
The wall is floodlit and climbers are treated to special effects as well as two overhangs and a choice of 12 different routes to the top.
Qualified climbing instructors can be booked in advance for £8 an hour and the cost of use any other time is 50p each for local residents during the day, £1.50 each for groups/non-rsidents, and £1 for individuals throughout the day.
For more information about this or the other facilities run by the centre, contact Phil Ward or Sheila Tully at 611373.
