THE YWCA Women and Girls Centre in Parr will be the meeting point for more than 50 young women from across the North West on Saturday, March 20.
The young women, aged between 13 and 25, will take part in a number of workshops on drama, dance, relaxation, hair care and other subjects. The workshops are free and there is also a free pre-bookable creche and lunch.
The event is part of the Young Women Together Project, a joint initiative by the YWCA and GFS Platform for Young Women.
There are still places available at the centre in Nunn Street, but it is essential too book creche places and lunch in advance by calling 01744 25813 during office hours.
