LEIGH AVENUE should have had a real stroll against Leigh Arms in the quarter finals of the Leigh & District Amateur Football League's Sharman Cup.

They finally wrapped up a 6-1 romp via Paul Banks, Keiron Lloyd, Steve Ackers, Craig Faulkner and Steve Hewitt, and they now face Sportsman while Britannia take on New Inn Rangers.
