ANTHONY Arthur Hope, 45, of Fox House Street, and Jill Richards, 41, of Ciceley Court, both Blackburn, were each granted a conditional discharge for 12 months by Blackburn magistrates after pleading guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Lord Square.
The court heard that police were called to Market Avenue following a complaint that Hope and Richards were causing a disturbance.
They were both warned about their conduct and told to leave but shortly after the police were called to Lord Square where the pair were again being abusive towards each other in front of afternoon shoppers.
