McATEER: Some would say he is in his best position at right back and his performances, especially in the last two matches, are evidence to back it up. Even when team standards slipped after the break, he was still making great runs - too often unnoticed - and one crossfield pass to Wilcox in the first half was magnificent...8 HENCHOZ: Always looked in control against a suprisingly toothless Wimbledon attack...7
PEACOCK: He has made an excellent contribution since regaining his place through Broomes' suspension, just a little ambitious with his passing at times...7
DAVIDSON: In the first half looked more assured and confident than for some time but suffered the malaise which affected the team in general after the break...7
JOHNSON: A great prospect, he always gets the crowd buzzing when he goes on those runs and not afraid to tackle. Occasionally needs to be more aware of other options than dribbling...7 MARCOLIN: Well on top in the first half and an important part in the second goal but nothing like as dominant after the break 7
WILCOX: Similar to Marcolin but it was revealed later that he had hardly trained during the week because of a hamstring strain, so a creditable effort...7
WARD: Could have had a hat-trick but scored the all-important opener. Put personal problems aside to give everything once again...8 SUTTON: What a difference he makes to the team. Involved in all three goals in a sensational first-half performance, he seemed to tire in the second but never stopped chasing...8
JANSEN: A talent being carefully nurtured by Kidd. Like Johnson he needs a little more awareness of better-placed team-mates but he can be a crowd-pleaser and took his second goal superbly...8
SUBS
DUFF: His farewell appearance for a while and unlucky to come on just when Rovers had lost their rhythm
GILLESPIE: Welcome back after injury and had time to chase back and clear a dangerous cross
TAYLOR: Sent on to shore things up and ensure there were no last-gasp shocks
