POLICE spy cameras aimed to catch more than 1,000 speeding motorists within three months after they were switched on at Blackburn.
Tests carried out at five sites caught hundreds of motorists going too fast. Police thought the cameras could easily nab more motorists than the ones installed in Preston, where 660 red light jumpers had been caught in three months.
