DOMESTIC burglary has been identified as Burnley's greatest single crime problem.
Details on how Burnley will battle to beat the burglary epidemic are contained in the borough's crime and disorder strategy.
Councillors will be asked to approve the second draft of the strategy at a meeting of the policy and resources committee tomorrow.
Other priorities for action are drugs, action for young people, domestic violence, ethnic minorities, the town centre and other community issues. The review clearly shows South West Burnley has the greatest crime and burglary problem, despite inroads having been made.
