DETECTIVES are still not certain what caused the death of Ivan Parker who was found in his fire-ravaged home in Clay Street, Burnley, on Saturday.
Mr Parker, 47, who lived alone, was found on a bed in the front bedroom. A post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday by Home Office pathologist Dr William Lawler.
Det Insp Ron Griffiths today appealed for information and said: "We need as much information as possible and particularly from neighbours who may have witnessed incidents not only on that night but on previous occasions." Anyone with information should contact Burnley CID on 01282 425001 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
