A MAJOR factory site is up for sale following the relocation of one of Blackburn oldest firms.
The owners of Secto have moved the pet care products business to Lincolnshire with the loss of more than 20 jobs.
Now the Carlinghurst Road factory is up for sale with a price tag of £550,000.
In 1992 the William Sinclair Group bought Secto from the Woolley family in a £6.6 million deal.
In the 1950s the firm had been the first in Europe to pioneer the use of the aerosol can. The firm went on to develop a range of products including flea collars for cats and dogs.
