OFFICERS at Rossendale Groundwork Trust went quackers when they learned that a consignment of artificial ducks had not arrived on schedule.
They had to cancel a duck race on Easter Monday at their countryside centre, Newhallhey, Rawtenstall.
But they stressed all other Monday activities would go ahead, including treasure and nature trails, and a quiz.
