ALAN CLARKSON has won the Rochdale 20, becoming Northern Veteran 20 mile Champion.
The Clayton Harrier specialises in the longer distances and represented Lancashire at the distance in the Inter Counties at Stafford earlier this month. Eric Wilson of Blackburn Harriers won the over 45 category, Graham Smith from Rossendale finished ahead of Wilson, but was only second over 50 and Jimmy Nolan from the Road Runners Club was second over 55.
