A NIGHT out at the cinema inspired model maker Peter Coughlin to embark an his own voyage to recreate the Titanic in miniature.
The two foot long model is on show in Darwen Library until April 10, along with other memorabilia.
Mr Coughlin of Lynwood Avenue, Darwen, said: "My wife and I really enjoyed the film.
" Lots of people, especially children, had been asking me when I was going to do a model of the Titanic, so that's what I've been doing for the past 12 months."
The exhibition, which features old newspapers, books about the Titanic and a full list of passengers, will then go on display at Samlesbury Hall at the end of April.
