PIGGERY buildings can be turned in to new homes.
David Bowling's application to convert two Landside Farm buildings at Leigh in to a detached house and a four bungalow terrace has been approved by planners.
Seven objections to the scheme included one from a neighbouring farm whose occupants said the land was in Green Belt and extra traffic might cause problems in Hand Lane.
Leigh RUFC members felt the development might result in complaints about noise from the club.
Planners approved the application after visiting the site.
