Where has Mr Pearson been living in the last four years? In response to his letter March 18 - the people of Morecambe do not credit him.
Mr Pearson blatantly fails to identify in his letter that Morecambe declined under the control of a Conservative council and government. Since 1991, the Labour controlled council has made the regeneration of Morecambe its main priority. The Labour council will continue to do so, if it regains control after the elections held on May 6. The remarks about Happy Mount park are far from true. I wonder if Mr Pearson has by any chance taken time to look at the flower beds or noticed the excellent upkeep of the park? I think that to have made such sweeping statements that the answer is no!
Is Mr Pearson aware that a brass band will brighten up a Sunday afternoon, in the summer months at Happy Mount Park?
