Paddy McKeown and Mike Watkinson linked up to keep Lancashire on the winning trail in South Africa.
Merseysider McKeown hammered an unbeaten 79 as Lancashire crushed a Combined Academy side by seven wickets in a 45 overs game - and early boost for an opener who will be fighting for a first team place this year.
Ex-captain Watkinson shone with bat and ball, first earning 4-31 from nine overs of off-spin and helping to restrict the Academy side to 146-9. Then he claimed 37 in an broken stand of 89 with McKeown and Lancashire cruised it with 12 overs left.
