KING Edward's U12s rugby teams enjoyed a double double when they entertained local rivals Arnold School.
The Lytham sides were keen to repeat last October's convincing victories at Arnold.
Free-scoring centre Tom Brooks scored two tries and further scores from Sean Whiteside, Thomas Appleby and captain Andrew Hodgson gave the A team a comfortable 31-12 win.
King Edward's B team again kept a clean sheet and ran in three tries by Nick Jones, Thomas Shillito and Paul Swift.
Both sides will travel to Cardiff next week on tour and coach Andy Weston is hopeful of success.
"This has been a good season," he said, "and I am delighted at the commitment of our players.
"We should enjoy our visit to South Wales greatly."
