St Helens Crusaders 32 Swinton Bulldogs 16 RUSTY Crusaders finally found their touch to run out convincing winners.
Playing their first game in a month, Crusaders made a lot of early errors. But once they settled down they were rewarded for their efforts.
First-half tries came from Forber, Lee and Haslam, with Saunders adding the extras.
After the break they continued where they had left off and further tries came from Capewell, Abbott and Yelland, who Saunders adding the goals, one from the touchline.
The Collier Arms, Kings Moss, man of the match was Saunders, with skipper Fairhurst and Haslam in contention.

Blackbrook 28
A great frst half by Blackbrook saw them lead 22-nil at the break. Crusaders rallied in the second period and scored tries through James Burrows and Carl Anders. Man of the match was Gaz Friar and he was well supported by James Burrows and Dave Lawton. Carl Traynor, Carl Anders, Lee Hudson and Joe Sullivan also played well.

Crusaders showed their strength in a physical encounter. Their tries were scored by McSpirritt, Hurst, Roby, Ogden, Wharton, Newall and Smith, with conversions by McSpirritt, Roby and Jones.
