LIKE brother and sister - that's Daud and Safia Asghar - literally!
Not only did the siblings get married on the same day, and their spouses were granted residency in the UK on the same day - but now they've also become parents on the same day!
Twenty-three-year-old Safia, who is married to Sajad Ahmed, laughed: "We really couldn't believe it when both me and my sister-in-law were admitted to hospital on the same day. It seemed everything I did my brother followed. But becoming parents on the same day - we didn't know what to think."
She added: "There must be something in the water!"
The brother and sister both married their respective partners in Pakistan in April 1995.
Daud's wife, Fauzia, was admitted to hospital while Safia was rushed into Fairfield Hospital just hours later on the same day.
Not surprisingly given their history, the brother and sister now have a healthy baby daughter each, Rabiah Ahmed and Siddra Asghar.
And as if they weren't close enough already, Safia, Daud (28) and their families are currently all living together in Ingham Street, Bury.
"We are quite close as brother and sister, but we never expected this," said Safia.
Safia's mother, Mrs Rashida Khan, said: "The only problem is that now the babies wake at the same time, and cry at the same time!"
