LANCASHIRE Lynx have selection problems as they prepare for their third consecutive away game tomorrow when they travel to Post Office Road to take on Featherstone Rovers (kick off 4pm).
Lynx will have gained confidence after last weekend's first away victory of the season at Rochdale, but once again coach Steve Hampson's preparations have been severely disrupted.
Scrum half Neil Flanagan will be missing for at least five weeks after dislocating his shoulder last Sunday.
Also struggling to be fit are Steve Gee and Tommy Hodgkinson both of whom picked up knocks on the same game.
Promising scrum half Phil Jones has signed for Wigan Warriors for a substantial fee, the first time that the club has ever received a fee for a player.
This also causes another problem for Hampson as Jones was also the club's goal kicker.
He was hoping to complete complete the loan signing of ex-Warrington half back Shaun Geritas in time for this weekend's game. Recent signing Andy Bennett should also make his debut after being unavailable through work commitments and prop forward Danny Guest should also return to the squad.
Featherstone are expected to be challenging hard for the championship after being beaten by Wakefield in last season's First Division grand final.
They have made an indifferent start to the season winning both their home games, but losing both their away games and they currently stand 10th in the league two places below Lynx. Last Sunday they slipped to a disappointing defeat at Leigh and their coach Kevin Hobbs was scathing of their performance.
Lynx will select from: Murray, David Jones, Welsh, Abram, Parsley, O'Loughlin, Geritas, Norton, Hodgkinson, White, Gee, Gildart, Solomon, Smith, Walsh, Bennett, Prest, Guest, Campbell.
