I LOVE our Queen Mother and think she is wonderful.

But whoever let her get into a £4 million overdraft?

I respect our Queen, too, but I honestly think that if I had her wealth, I would seriously think about settling my mother's debts, and even ask Prince Charles to help.

When you think of the young people who cannot pay their mortgages and old people like me who have their homes taken off them if they have to go into care after they have struggled all their lives to keep out of debt, well, it makes you wonder.

It's a funny old world.
