DOES anybody drink 'Bene and hot?'
My grandfather used to live in Burnley and I will always remember the sight of the barman boiling up a kettle to add hot water to his beloved Benedictine.
I was told recently that 30 per cent of all UK sales of Benedictine are in Burnley and was intrigued to know why this should be.
If anybody has any information that can cast any light on this I would be very grateful.
