A 75-year-old woman was bruised when she was knocked to the floor by an attacker after she had just drawn her pension.
She was walking along Ormerod Street in Accrington at 9.30am yesterdaywhen she was grabbed from behind near the junction with Perth Street.
The man snatched a leather-bound pension book from her hand and also escaped with £76 cash. He is described as white, in his early 20s, 5ft 4ins, with short, brown hair and was wearing dark clothing.
