THE hottest new car on the road was launched in East Lancashire.
Jaguar's S-type was unveiled to customers at the Lex Mead dealership in Blackburn at a preview night.
It was made at the Castle Bromwich factory in the West Midlands. Smaller than current Jaguars, it is designed to appeal more to women.
Jaguar plans to make about 40,000 this year and about 55,000 next year. Prices for the S-type, seen first at the Birmingham Motor Show, start at £28,300.
