GOING back in time to the sounds of the '70s!
And who better to turn up, tune in, and set those hot hits spinning, than Coronation Street's resident DJ Les Battersby?
The star of the Street is coming to Preston next month to host our very own 'seventies night at Preston Grasshoppers RFC, Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood.
Corrie's king of pop, aka Bruce Jones, will be bringing some of his favourite classic albums, Marc Bolan, Sweet, the Bay City Rollers and even the Osmonds, to name but a few.
So if you're into the era, or just fancy a great night out, it's on April 11.
Tickets are £5 and entry on the door, £6. The fun starts at 7.30pm and there's a chance to win some super prizes. All proceeds go to two charities: Vine House Cancer Centre and Med-Alert, selected by the Mayor of Preston, Rose Kinsella.
Pop fans are also invited to dress up in period costume with a prize for the best dressed '70s reveller.
Anyone wishing to see Les in all his Iggy Pop glory on April 11, can buy tickets (£5) from Grasshoppers, or call 07808-637181.
But three lucky Citizen readers can go along with a guest for free. We are giving away three pairs of tickets, just answer the question:
Who is the actor who plays Les Battersby?
Answers on a postcard to Les Battersby Comp, 3, Winckley Court, Chapel Street, Preston, PR1 3JJ, to arrive by April 7 Usual Citizen rules apply.
