TWO Leigh Round Tablers are running up miles of training to help provide a last wish for terminally ill children.
John Lever and David Baybutt will run the London Marathon on April 18 to raise cash for the club's charity.
They are aiming to pull in betwen £3,000 and £4,000 for the Round Table's Children's Wish.
The duo have been in training for six months and have each clocked up around 1,400 miles.
John is one of Leigh's oldest Tablers and David one of the youngest, but both hope to complete the event in respectable times.
They would like to thank fellow Tablers for their support, along with members from the Atherton and Tyldesley Table, Leigh Ladies' Circle, Lord Street Building Supplies, Keyline and many others for their sponsorship.
Anyone else who would like to make a donation should contact David on 777777 in the daytime or John on 262608 in the evening.
