YOUNG biologists from King Edward VII School in Lytham have won honours in a national competition.
Matthew Lambert,18, and Chris Vernazza,17, entered the British Biology Olympiad run by the Institute of Biology.
Matthew won a bronze award and Chris, who lives in Ansdell, was in the highly commended group.
Both have been invited to attend a special award ceremony in London.
