I AM writing to express my disgust about some brainless, mindless idiots who made a mess of my car on a recent overnight visit to Blackpool.
I am now retired and after receiving an ample share of bad luck throughout my life, two years ago I was proud to be able to buy a pure white Toyota Corolla F-reg in immaculate condition, with not a mark on it.
On February 26 this year my wife and daughter went to see Daniel O'Donnell at the Winter Garends.
They stayed the night on Adelaide Street in Blackpool and parked the car down the road from the hotel.
When they got home the next day I noticed two big footprints on the bonnet and one on the sunroof, one near the back of the roof which was dented, scuff marks down the back window and a big dent made by a heel.
Apart from the mindless vandalism the point is that not everyone who owns a car necessarily has plenty of money to pay for these kind of body repairs.
I worked all my life and had something worthwhile, then persons unknown come along one night and cause damage to break our hearts.
I just wonder how the culprits would feel if I smashed some of their valued property for no reason?
Mr S Couperthwaite,
Bury.
