Dear supporters,
The recent launch of season tickets for the 1999/2000 season has become an important issue.
The price reductions before the April 5 date are not only to encourage supporters to buy early, but to assist the club to bridge the financial abyss caused by the cancellation of the Sunderland game.
This postponement not only meant a loss of much-needed gate revenue but put back the next payment on the Paul Butler transfer.
It is obvious to most, but not to all, that the club is struggling to maintain it's financial equilibrium.
It has become necessary over the last few years for season ticket income to be required much earlier.
I would like to thank in advance all supporters who feel they can help the club financially at this difficult time and any who have doubts to consider the consequences to the club of not taking up the April 5 offer.
TERRY ROBINSON
