IT'S a huge weekend for Swinton Lions who could put themselves right back in the pack with victory over Rochdale tomorrow (Good Friday) and Featherstone on Monday.
Sunday's morale-boosting 12-4 victory over Whitehaven has lifted the Gigg Lane side off the foot of the Northern Ford Premiership table.
Four points from four by Monday night would signal an end to the club's nightmare start to the season.
"We hope Whitehaven will prove to be the turning point of our year," said chief executive Tony Barrow.
"The conditions were dreadful but the lads adapted to them and slogged out the win - and we needed it."
Tomorrow's derby match with Rochdale gets underway at 3pm at Gigg Lane with Easter Monday's trip to Post Office Road a 7.30pm kick-off.
Mark Welsby and Ian Blease, both injury victims at the Recreation Ground, are fighting to be fit for one, if not both, of the weekend's fixtures, whilst Paul Stevens and Steve Taylor should be back in contention.
