ST HELENS Council is seeking a green team to put the borough on the national map during April's 'National Spring Clean Month.'
If you fancy taking part in finding the oddest piece of litter, organising a litter pick or seeing who can collect the most, contact Brian Whalley in the council's customer services and monitoring unit on 01744 456449.
The event runs in conjunction with Tidy Britain's campaign and the council is seeking support from schools, well-known food outlets and members of the public to deal with the problem of litter. It will run throughout April.
