TIMES may change but children will always enjoy playing with toys.

And there were many old-fashioned toys for youngsters to get to grips with in a "Playing with the Past" session held on Tuesday at Bury art gallery and museum.

Perhaps the highlight among many traditional Victorian toys and games was the appearance of the museum's Hornby train set.

The day was just one event held to mark "Family Friendly Fortnight" to show youngsters the treasures of the gallery and museum during the school holidays.

Our poctire shows a chuffed: five-year-old Jill Tarrier of Hamer Street, Radcliffe, letting the train take the strain is with an LNER loco.
