A CHOIR which was established 50 years ago is looking for new members to help keep it on song.
St Teresa's Pueri Cantores Choir, based at St Teresa's Church, Devon Street, Newtown, consists of men and boys, and it currently has vacancies for boys aged between six to 11 years.
The choir practices on Tuesday and Friday evenings and sings at the 11am Sunday Mass in church. As well as the choral work, the boys also enjoy a number of social events and day trips.
Matthew Sephton, accompanist and trainer of new members, said: "If you have a son aged between the age of six and 11, who is interested in music and singing, get in touch. With all the new friends and activities that are arranged, together with the enjoyment of singing and the great spiritual, educational and developmental nature of music itself, the boys learn to flourish within a wonderful, friendly choir environment."
Mr Sephton can be contacted on 01744 739760.
