IT'S not uncommon to find a bunch of old long-haired blokes pumping out 12-bar rock and roll in your local pub.
But regulars at one Manchester pub may give a second look this week - the group will be Status Quo.
The aging rockers, who once joked they should have played 25 chords over four years instead of the other way round, appear at the Star and Garter, in Fairfield Street, on Wednesday.
The pub management won the chance to host the rockers after entering a competition which chose 10 pubs nationwide from 10,523 entries.
Tickets are only available from the pub and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
