A SENIOR police officer welcomed moves to crack down on lager louts and hooligans in Oswaldtwistle.
Insp Alan Frangleton, of Accrington police, attended a meeting of councillors, traders and landlords in the town's Black Dog pub.
Afterwards, he said he supported the community's efforts to work towards resolving problems of hooliganism and drunken behaviour.
