AMBULANCE boss Bob Waters got a nasty shock when he was booked by a policewoman while on an errand of mercy.
Bob, running a private ambulance firm from Darwen, was on stand-by in a no-waiting zone at an all-night dance party in Birmingham.
A warning was also left on the windscreen telling Bob he had no excise licence - even though his vehicle was exempt.
