ON behalf of our family, we would like to thank each and every one of the people who gave tremendous support in their efforts in aid of the Luke Hill Florida Dolphin appeal.
Special thanks to the committee and members of St Paul's WMC, Blackburn, and Mrs E J Walker and the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
Luke, our grandson, visited the therapy unit in Key Largo, Florida, in March, but, sadly, he has not responded to the therapy with the dolphins to kick-start him to speak. However, Luke had a happy time.
The advice and follow-through therapy will be taught to Luke in Blackburn and, hopefully, he will benefit from this.
Money remaining in the fund will be used by the trustees of the charity to enable Luke to go for some other form of medical treatment. Members of the public will be informed via the Press and St Paul's WMC notice board of Luke's progress. The appeal is now closed.
Again many thanks and God bless you all.
MR AND MRS B NOLAN, grandparents, Oozehead Lane, Blackburn.
