A FRIGHTENED teenage girl was held captive by an attacker who insisted on telling her about his family problems.
The 15-year-old girl was held captive by her attacker for more than an hour on a bench on a council estate.
The incident took place around 9.45pm last Friday in Huncoat.
The girl was walking home when she was called by a man standing in an alleyway off Within Grove.
She went to speak to him but the man grabbed hold of her and dragged her down the alleyway.
He pulled her to a bench and when she tried to run off he grabbed hold of her with both arms.
The teenager finally managed to free herself when her captor decided to go to the toilet.
Detectives believe the man could be dangerous and are appealing to the public to help them trace him.
He is white, aged around 40, 6ft and has a dark, full-length beard and square metal framed glasses and spoke with a Scottish accent.
He was wearing blue stone washed jeans, a black leather style jacket, black woollen hat.
The attacker was also wearing a thick gold wedding ring.
