LEIGH ATHLETIC striker Danny Wilson produced a dazzling display, hitting four goals in a 5-1 rout of Mostonians.
His first two bullet dearers into the net were quickly followed by a sure-foot strike; he then had a goal disallowed after flattening the goalkeeper.
Craig Little banged in a fourth and Wilson wrapped it up.
The return fixture is at Charles Street on Saturday (2.30pm).
THE interval whistle saw Atherton LR coasting, two goals up and more seeming certain.
The final whistle saw Colls bossing it, having fought back for 2-2 with LR glad it was all over - and thankful for a point.
Steve Cunningham curled a free kick into the top corner for the opener, quickly followed by Frank Bird's strike after good work by Mike Smith.
Colls hit back with a Colin Lomas penalty.
But they had to wait until the 88th minute for the equaliser, a deep cross neatly tucked away by Lomas.
