CHURCH professional Neil McGarrell is set to miss the first three games of the Lancashire League season.
The West Indian slow left-armer missed out on the final World Cup 15.
But he is on stand-by for the series of seven one-day internationals against Australia in the Caribbean and is expected to feature in at least two.
And that will keep him out of England until the week commencing April 26.
Barnoldswick CC have signed Pakistani Raja Arshad for the new season.
