ACCRINGTON Stanley entertain Marine tomorrow hoping to make the most of their potential relegation lifeline.

Stanley looked to be almost dead and buried in their quest to stay in the Unibond League Premier Division.

But the news that only one club may go down if Hucknall finish in the top two of the First Division has provided light at the end of the tunnel.

Stanley therefore need to leapfrog Chorley in their quest for a last-minute reprieve and manager Wayne Harrison insisted: "We've got to fight for that place, that's for sure. We have probably got the best run-in."

Stanley will have three games in hand on their local rivals after Chorley have played at Winsford tonight, where they are looking to extend the five-point advantage they currently hold over Harrison's men.

But Stanley need to make that count, starting against mid-table Marine who beat Chorley 4-1 last Saturday.

"We are trying to win every game," stressed Harrison. "Every game is winnable. We have got a good spirit going but we don't need anymore bottom-of-the-table luck."

That was evident when Stanley conceded an equaliser several minutes into stoppage time against high-flying Bamber Bridge on Monday.

And Harrison also has a couple of injury problems to contend with. Paul Lynch has a groin strain, Paul Tomlinson a hamstring problem and Mark Howard is unavailable.
