ARMY cadets from across Lancashire pulled together for a physical challenge with a difference in Blackpool.
More than 50 members of the Lancashire Army Cadet Force (ACF) took part in a gruelling Land Rover pull to raise awareness of their organisation and boost recruitment on Easter Monday (April 5). In small teams they dragged the army vehicle half a mile along the promenade from the war memorial to Gyn Square.
And as if their task wasn't hard enough, each Land Rover had members of the ACF's Corps of Drums squeezed into the back.
The crowd which gathered to watch the spectacle were treated to a performance by the Corps of Drums and had the chance to meet cadets manning the recruitment caravans.
