RECENTLY-signed East Lancashire indie band Missed Her Bliss travel to Manchester Roadhouse this week for a headline show.
The four-piece, who come from the Ribble Valley and Hyndburn, play the Newton Street venue on Friday.
The group recently signed a management and record contract with Gloucester-based Holier Than Thou Records.
The band, whose influences include The Cure, The Velvet Underground and Placebo, had previously generated record label interest but without success. The group, consisting of singer and guitarist Matt Richardson, of Great Harwood, Chatburn drummer Scott Turner, 20, bass player Rob Yates, 19, from Read, last year recruited cellist Katie Chatburn, 18, from Langho, to embellish their sound.
They have pencilled in a song called Predicament as a possible single release.
