SO our Bishop of Blackburn is to hold a service at an Asda superstore. I bet this has upset quite a few people, even in these ever-changing times.
The Bishop says this is the Church's symbolic way of meeting people. I hope people who criticise will first examine themselves and reflect on what they have done or should be doing if they are Christians in meeting people's needs.
Jesus himself went out to meet the people in all sorts of unusual places. As He said: "Go out and make disciples of all men."
So, I say, to our Bishop: Have a wonderful service - and don't forget the collection!
