A TV cook gave elderly people at a Pendle nursing home an interesting insight into "Cooking on the air".
Visiting speaker Pam Jelley, of Simonstone, who has appeared on radio and television cookery programmes, talked about how cooking in front of an audience was far more traumatic than at home when she visited Brierfield House home, Brierfield,.
She also gave entertaining examples of how making a dish can go disastrously wrong.
Pam was bound to be a good talker, she represented Burnley Ladies' Speakers Club in a national speech competition three years ago.
