BLACKPOOL boss Nigel Worthington insists he isn't looking at the Second Division table.
The Tangerines are within touching distance of safety after a 2-0 win over Reading on Saturday - only their second home success in 16 games.
And Worthington clearly believes concentrating on games rather than maths is the route to guaranteeing Second Division survival.
Going into tonight's game he said: "We have just got to go out and give the same performance than we did against Reading.
"I am looking for good performances in our games and then hopefully the results and table will look after themselves."
Before Saturday's victory over a disappointing Reading side, Blackpool were looking for another five points to make sure of staying up.
And Burnley will have to work for everything they get tonight as they look to join their north-west rivals in securing Second Division status.
But one thing that will be in the Clarets favour tonight is their goal power. Andy Payton is firing on all cylinders, while Blackpool's leading scorer Martin Aldridge will miss the game with a knee injury.
That leaves midfielder Phil Clarkson as top-scorer with seven, while Aldridge's likely replacement Chris Malkin has netted just twice in a disrupted campaign.
