SUNDERLAND manager Peter Reid, himself a former Shaker, brings his champions-elect to Gigg Lane tonight, to present Bury with a massive barrier to their survival prospects.
Sunderland can ensure their own promotion with a win and have sold their allocation of 5,000 tickets so with TV cameras present also, the scene is set for a party.
Bury will have other ideas however, and having lost only one game in the last 10 and following their win at Oxford on Saturday, go into the game in good heart.
Defender Steve Redmond will miss the rest of the season and Paul Barnes has a hamstring strain and is doubtful for tonight's game.
Squad: Kiely, West, Serrant, Daws, Lucketti, Swailes, Billy, Littlejohn, D'Jaffo, Lilley, Woodward, Jemson, Preece, Williams.
