A MAN is awaiting sentence after admitting a string of child sex offences.
Paul Emsley, 31, was remanded in custody until June 18 for pre-sentence and psychiatric reports.
Judge Raymond Bennett, who said prison was inevitable, said he wanted the help of a specialist probation officer to assess what risk, if any, Emsley presented to young people in the future.
Emsley, of Travis Street, Burnley, admitted a serious sexual offence, taking an indecent photograph, distributing an indecent photograph and two counts of indecent assault.
His barrister, Mark Stuart, told Burnley Crown Court Emsley had no convictions for offences of such nature.
Simon Temple, prosecuting, said the offences took place over about five months.
