GOOD to be in touch again after a couple of weeks break. Hope you're keeping well.
Hope you were lucky last week at the Grand National. The highlight of the day for me was the streaker who gave the police the runaround. He has now streaked on National TV a number of times. He has Crufts and the National Lottery under his belt already, and plans for his next streak are under way. He's actually a really nice guy. We met him a few times. He's a good friend of Kev Seed's - no surprises there. Let's check out the Starbeat record review our three new songs for this week.
Texas - In Our Lifetime We were the first radio station in the country to play this song when I did the breakfast show a couple of weeks ago - and right from its first play, I was convinced this was going to be a big chart success.
Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now This guy is having a right good time of it at the moment. His success just goes from strength to strength. To help it along, this song has been used in a sports TV commercial so when you hear it its instantly recognisable.
Blackstreet Featuring Janet Jackson - Girlfriend/Boyfriend Great to hear this superb R&B act back again - sounding as cool as ever. Remember their hit 'No Diggity' well this tune is along the same lines, they must have chart success with this tune, particularly as Janet Jackson adds her spice to make it the perfect meal.
