A NEWLY re-formed Scout group in the Butts Bridge area has issued a desperate appeal for leaders.
The 23rd Leigh (Bedford Methodist) Troop has been defunct for several years, but an attempt is being made to re-establish the gang.
Boys are already waiting to join the Beavers, all they need now is a few adults to lead them.
Anyone interested should be between the ages of 18-65, male or female, and be prepared to spend an hour or so each week helping to develop boys from six to 20 into good citizens. There is no need to have Scouting experience, training will be given.
