A PRESTON councillor has invited people to meet at Preston's Peace Garden on Saturday morning to give thoughts to all those involved in the Kosovo conflict.
Councillor Albert Richardson said: "Everybody wants all the sides involved to stop the fighting and start talking.
"This won't be a council-run event or a religious gathering a such, but a moment to reflect on the conflict.
"I hope people will gather around 10.30am.
"Some may wish to say a prayer while those people who don't go to church may want to say a few words.
"If I have to stand there myself, I will."
The Peace Garden is situated at junction of Ringway and Friargate.
